Appeal court hearing the case between Hon. Wemi Jones a candidate of APC in the last House of Representatives election of Kabba/Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency challenging the Victory of Hon. T. J Yusuf of PDD has upheld the tribunal judgment in favour of PDP candidate Hon. T. J Yusuf thereby dismissing the petition of APC and its candidates.

APC, PDP speak on expectations  The Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal (PEPT) will today deliver judgment in the petition by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, challenging the outcome of the February 23 election. Information about the date for the judgment was made public in a statement by the Director of Information of the Court of Appeal, Sa’adatu Musa on Tuesday. Atiku and PDP have been challenging the declaration by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) of the APC and Buhari as winner of the election with 15,191,846 as against their 11, 262,978. Xenophobia: Buhari told to give automatic job to South Africa returnees

Senior Pastor of the Awaiting The Second Coming Of Jesus Christ Gospel Church, Adewale Giwa has appealed to President Muhammadu Buhari to offer victims of xenophobia automatic jobs with a view to making life comfortable for them while in Nigeria. In a statement signed and made available to DAILY POST on Monday, the cleric said the gesture would go a long way to encourage other Nigerians in South Africa who were yet to make up their minds. About 400 Nigerians are said to have returned to the country following the Federal Government’s directive that all victims of xenophobia are free to return.
