XENOPHOBIA ATTACKS ON THE FOREIGNERS IN SOUTH AFRICA.

Most time in a situation like this, I begin to wonder if we truly have government or people at the helms of authority who really care about their citizens well being.

I have been waiting all day long to hear or see the mechanism that will be put in place to call the South Africa Government to order in order to save guard the lives and properties of its citizens in South Africa but surprisingly to wake up this morning seeing this circulating on the social media 👇.

"Ramaphosa condemns ‘anti-foreigner violence’ as FG seeks police deployment to S/Africa President Muhammadu Buhari has noted with deep concern, reported attacks on Nigerian citizens and property in South Africa and despatched a Special Envoy to his South African counterpart Cyril Ramaphosa over the situation."

The most disheartening part is where the envoys been deploy by the government giving report that "no Nigerians was kill in the attack" while we have different videos online showing how Nigeria citizens was gruesomely murdered while one was even burnt to death alive.

In this case who, is deceiving who?

I am not surprise seeing the South Africa Government most especially President Ramaphosa not responding to the attack since all this while not until the Shoprite attack yesterday which propel our government to send an Envoy down to S.A. That is what you get when the government is careless about its citizens.

Nigeria government has just too being cold concerning xenophobia attacks on it citizens for so long that is what is now bouncing back now as the Nigerian Youths has no option than to stand against such in their own way.

We shouldn't being in a hast to forget how Deputy Director -General of Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria , Elizabeth Ndubusi -Chukwu is been murder in her hotel room in South Africa with no traces of the culprits been accosted till date upon the powerful delegation sent by the Nigerian government to President Ramaphosa with no result and our government remain calm as if all is well. Hmm! What an agony?

Nevertheless, I hope this repreaser attack on Shoprite will serve as a call to order for both Nigerian Government and South African government to step up their games in securing the lives and properties of all the occupants in their countries irrespective of their Race, Region and Ethnicity for a better living as no country in the world can live independently on its own. We all need ourselves to survive.

Conclusively, to all the Nigerian youths, violence is not the answer to our ordeal rather we should put our government officials on their toes to be up and doing.
