The first batch of Nigerians who were willing to be evacuated from South Africa over the recent Xenophobic attacks in the country has arrived.
Journalists and government officials waited at the airport till about 11pm when Abike Dabiri, Chairman, Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, received them.
Legit.ng correspondent on ground reports that some of the returnees came back without anything, as they’d rather save their lives than stay put in South Africa.
