Fuel Prince Increase Drastically to N300 Per litre in Ondo State

Report have emerged that the black market of petrol in Ondo booms with prices skyrocketing up to 300 naira per litre.

Following the current nationwide fuel scarcity, transport fares have doubled and major petrol sellers are running out of cheaper fuel.

Since major filling stations in Ondo can’t meet the demand of petrol, with the few of them still selling at 150 naira per litre, that has led to the shooting up of the prices at the black market to up to 300 naira per litre.

Despite the promise by the Ondo State government to curb petrol resellers’ activity, transport fares nearly doubled recently.

The Chairman of the state Petroleum products monitoring committee, Alhaji Jimoh Bello revealed that an additional 165,000 litres of fuel will be soon delivered to compensate fuel scarcity.
